Electrical Technician - Maintenance - Hull - £30,000 - £36,000 DOE
My client are part of a large international group who have been established since the early 19th century. Their are 3 core business within the group, Electricity, Natural Gas, Energy & Environmental Services and they roughly employ 210,000 people worldwide. My client are looking to expand their current workforce and an excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Technician to join their team.
You will be working as part of a disciplined team who are responsible for the day to day plant maintenance, engineering work and project work to ensure plant availability, reliability, efficiency and safety are achieved on a daily basis. Resolving problems and offering solutions you will work in accordance with site procedures and maintenance strategies to ensure operational performance is maintained.
In order to succeed in this role you will have,
- HNC/ONC or equivalent in a related discipline
- A proven track record of working with HV Electrical systems
- Plant maintenance experience in a power or process environment
- Knowledge and understanding of rotating plant
- Plant inspection, fault diagnosis and routine work on plant and equipment
- The ability to achieve maintenance targets within strict limits of operation
- Excellent communication skills
- Health, safety and environmental knowledge
- Analytical & problem solving skills
Ideally you will live within a hours distance of my client
You will need to have working experience of a power plant or a process based environment with the ability to deliver targets safely and commercially. You will be required to demonstrate sound technical knowledge relating to plant inspections, fault diagnosis and routine maintenance.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail whist always maintaining a safety first attitude. You will be a team player who can use your own initiative and be willing to support the businesses needs when required. A good work ethic is required and being able to take responsibility and pride in your work on a daily basis.
